After over a year of absence ( and after waiting for a guy to come back with a solution to a problem that I had who subsequently disappeared) I've recently looked at my code again and made a number of improvements.


Fixed a few bugs, UI now works properly

You can now select the new gametypes from the UI and the
player model animation in the menu is no longer screwed up

New gametype icons for the UI

Weapons now explode in the same way as ammo did.

BFG, Napalm, Rocket and Grenade ammo and weapons now explode like the others.

Simplified the way replacing items is done. E.g. /replace nt mg would replace the napalm thrower with the minigun. No need to know the numbers now and also makes code easier to read.

BFG alt fire effects now work properly.

Ammo belts are back in. :D. - cg_realitems 1 or 2

Spherical explosions! - cg_sphericalexplosions

Each now item has customisable damage, self damage and team damage when they explode.

A bug to do with weapon damage fixed.

You now catch fire from the Napalm items explosions

Dropped items no longer explode when you kill someone

Mod configs updated to reflect the new changes

Promode enemy and team colour skins, ArQon gave me permission to use them. Cheers!

Fixed the grapple pull sound. At player now instead of the hook.

Added some nice new flesh sounds when you get hit with the hook or shotgun

Award medal icons improved, kill spree, death spree, airkill, accuracy and grapple kill

Handicap / bot skill now shown on the scoreboard

Added Quake 2 style BFG beams, set the relevant stuff by typing

/bfg beamdmg -value- (set to enable)
/bfg beamreload -value-
/bfg beamrange -value-
/bfg beamkb -value-

You can now load the mod cfgs from the in game menu. I may at some point add the descriptions so you know what the cfgs are about.

Added some new ingame menu options, such as add random bot

You can now switch between hitscan and projectile shotgun, set it to hitscan by setting /sg speed 8192 anything else makes it a projectile shotgun

Added projectile for minigun, same applies to /mg speed 8192 as above

Improved the console graphics.
