Hi:

Me and a friend are trying to connect online to have a fight but always i try to connect to him appears a mis-typed cdkey and we dont know what does it mean. He has a dinamic ip and i have an static one. If he tries to connect to me everything is ok but i cannot connect to him and we want me to connect him coz his connection is better thaan mine so if someone knows how to make it work we will thanks lots.
To create the match we always do multiplayer->create->select a map-> and pure server off, punkbuster off

If it's just you and him, he could set sv_strictAuth to 0

Ok, thanks. But what ip address must he give me? his router ip or his pc ip? And how can he look for those ips to give me them?

router ip. there should be an info page in the router's web setup that shows current ip, dns addresses, gateway etc.
whenever he needs to find his ip he can look there.
