Looks like the first thing you should do with that phone is take it back and get something slightly less ugly and functional, like say, a brick.

hmm...okay, I kinda hate it.
It came with this huge usb cable, making me think it could just link up to the comp....uh, NO....its for the fucking printer.
It has a tiny 34 meg memory card I can use for
uploading files...
Im a little pissed, I feel misled. Its all geared around its net access...which Im not interested in. I wanted a phone that could make phone calls, Do upskirt shots in crowded malls and buses, shoot tiny porn vids, and connect to my comp. It failed miserably on the last criteria. :icon33:

i'm thinking of getting a d500, has anyone had first hand experience with it? the UI looks a little childish but other than that it seems quite sexy?

A friend of mine has one. The screen isn't very sharp at all, it's very washed out. The camera isn't too bad, the video recorder is about 2fps.

can't say i'm overly fussed about video or photographs, it'll be nice if i need to quickly photograph something but otherwise i'll use my proper camera

Sony Ericsson for the win
It's great to have a cam on your phone. For instance I'd not of been able to take these. I had my phone set on medium quality, which really annoyed me though.
I like the second as I didn't realise until I saw it later on that night but one of my friends is hugging the tree to the right

I've had a Verizon-service Motorola Razr for a few weeks now, and it's been fine (and pretty sharp really). I don't talk on the phone much except to my mom. so it serves its purpose.
Now only if I could get around Verizon's ghey file-sharing/bluetooth restrictions *smirk*. Not that I've done it.
My family hasn't had any real problems with Verizon, and since I don't talk on the phone much, it's no big deal. Theoretically, it beats buying Tracfone phone cards every few months. I suppose I could do better I suppose.

I had a d500 last year, swapped it for a d600e this year when my contract gave up and TBH I wish i stayed with the d500, its much better. Next year I'm gonna either move to a different company, or i'll get one of the new Smasung slim model:
Either this:
This:
Or this:
Really leaning towards the d900, its like the d500/d600 in that it slides up to answer the call/reveal the numbers, only its just retardedly thin and looks stunning. There is another one thats slim and works just like that and its out soon, it has iPod style buttons on the front so the front of the phone when its slid down has NO visible seams, you just tap the area you need, like an iPod.
Edit: this one, the e900:

I read up on this phone awhile back. I seem to remember people
flashing the firmware with alltel firmware. Uncripples the phone but
voids the warrenty. I have an alltel razr and bluetooth works just fine.

yea, exactly what I did. It worked like a charm

Who needs a warranty anyhoo. Insurance I have, in case I lose the phone.
