Anyone have any hints about next directions for the iMacs? Im thinking of getting one, can hold off for awhile though, so...
any rumours?

If you can hold off, do so. You never know if they'll produce a bump for the US Thanks-giving.

I'd imagine they'll put core2-duos in a good number of their mid-range systems. They've got the core duo for the minis and ibooks, and could bump the imacs and mac books up to core2 duos, and have the Xserves and MacPros be Xeon based.

That seems like a legitimate roadmap to me.
