1).How can I paste using the lighting gun?
2).How can I create a multi. map?
3).What are cheat codes?

Paste using the LG? don't know what you are asking there...
Get over in Level editing and ask there or browse throught the sticky.
Load up quake 3 and bring down your console. Type in without quotes, "sv_pure 0" and then "devmap q3dm17" or whatever map you wanna play. That will allow you to use cheats in Single Player.
Cheat are:
* /god
* /giveall
That's pretty much all ya need.

are also quite funny codes
