I found many useful websites to download maps for Q3A but i dont know how to install them to the game or in what folder to apply them.

All maps should be placed in your Quake III Arena\baseq3 folder. If they are compressed (.zip) you will need to extract them, they have to have the .pk3 extension.

Use this for extracting the maps: http://www.rarlab.com/

plus there are instructions included in the ZIP files...

now my only problem is where to find good Q3 maps
