I've never taken the plunge and gone from the mach 3 to the mach 3 turbo, does the latter actually provide a better shave?Bdw3 wrote:I did however, conclude that it did no better than a Mach 3 with a 'Turbo' blade.
But the 6th blade on the back did prove itself useful when I went to trim the 5 or 6 hairs between my eye brows.
A 3 blade Sensor will do just perfect. Been using a sensor for 25 years. 4 or 5 blades are for pussies.Law wrote:I've never taken the plunge and gone from the mach 3 to the mach 3 turbo, does the latter actually provide a better shave?Bdw3 wrote:I did however, conclude that it did no better than a Mach 3 with a 'Turbo' blade.

hmm I always thought you had to buy an entire new razor, not just the blades. I'll give the turbo a whirl. Cheers for that.Bdw3 wrote:Not really, the only difference is that it has 5 more 'micro fins' and a aloe strip on it.
It does seem to go against the grain better though.
When the Mach3 Power (5 more micro fins than the Turbo) came out, the Turbo blades price dropped. So I've always gotten them.
They all fit on the same handle so, you could pick up a 4 box of Turbo blades and try them out.
Do you shave every day, or at least monday to friday or whatever? I never get any irritation from shaving if I shave every second day. It's when I have to shave daily that my skin doesn't like it. That's why I'm in search of 'the perfect shave'.scourge34 wrote:A 3 blade Sensor will do just perfect. Heh- I got my Turbo handle in the mail the week of my 18th birthday, came with 2 sets of blades, a mini can of shave gel and a happy birthday note. I'm still not sure how they knew. Gllette ninjas i guess.Law wrote:hmm I always thought you had to buy an entire new razor, not just the blades. I'll give the turbo a whirl. Cheers for that.
You cant be a man if you dont know what razor you use.Captain Mazda wrote:I use a Gillette something-something whatever :icon32:
Shit yes. Was just wondering about why that is yesterday when i bought 10 for 10 euro's. Are they that expensive to make? Are we being ripped off? What the fuck?Law wrote:Yeah the cost of blades is unbelievably retarded.
:icon14:scourge34 wrote:Fuck a turbo. I've got one and the sensor gave me a better shave every time. The turbo is just a waste of blades for me.
It's a Mach 3 Turbo, only problem is it's kinda tough when trying to shave the sides of my moustache :/ek wrote:You cant be a man if you dont know what razor you use.Captain Mazda wrote:I use a Gillette something-something whatever :icon32:
