I did however, conclude that it did no better than a Mach 3 with a 'Turbo' blade.

But the 6th blade on the back did prove itself useful when I went to trim the 5 or 6 hairs between my eye brows.

I've never taken the plunge and gone from the mach 3 to the mach 3 turbo, does the latter actually provide a better shave?

Not really, the only difference is that it has 5 more 'micro fins' and a aloe strip on it.

It does seem to go against the grain better though.
When the Mach3 Power (5 more micro fins than the Turbo) came out, the Turbo blades price dropped. So I've always gotten them.

They all fit on the same handle so, you could pick up a 4 box of Turbo blades and try them out.

About the Fusion though-
No, it's too damn big. The blades take up about the same amount of space as they do on the M3, but they’ve attached a welcome mat of 'micro fins' so it's like dragging a lawn mower across your face.
Fine for large areas like the cheeks and I guess the chest (if your the kind of fellow that does that sort of thing *fag*) but I found myself a bit puzzled when I went to do my upper lip.

And of course the blades are stupid expensive. When I finish with the 4 I have, I'll be going back to my Turbo. :)

A 3 blade Sensor will do just perfect. Been using a sensor for 25 years. 4 or 5 blades are for pussies.

They made a Sensor with 3 blades?

hmm I always thought you had to buy an entire new razor, not just the blades. I'll give the turbo a whirl. Cheers for that.

Do you shave every day, or at least monday to friday or whatever? I never get any irritation from shaving if I shave every second day. It's when I have to shave daily that my skin doesn't like it. That's why I'm in search of 'the perfect shave'.

Pretty much daily. Sometimes with a day or so in between.

Heh- I got my Turbo handle in the mail the week of my 18th birthday, came with 2 sets of blades, a mini can of shave gel and a happy birthday note. I'm still not sure how they knew. Gllette ninjas i guess. :ninja:

Here's a new razor youg man. Now go empty your pockets buying the blades for it!

Yeah the cost of blades is unbelievably retarded.

$13.44 for four Fusion Power blades... :icon27:

Seriously, if anyone else is thikning of this razor, no.
If you absolutly must, get the regular one that dosen't vibrate, if just for the smaller handle you don't have to worry about getting wet.

I didn't say anything about the vibrating part.
All it did was make me press the razor against my face harder.
If i didn't press hard it felt like I was using a dull blade.
I turned it off for most of my shave.

Larl, about $5 for 5 triple bladed sensor blades.

Well... It's still $2 a blade for the M3 Turbos. :/

In any case. There's my hard and fast review of the Fusion Power.

Next week: The Schick Quattro.

Fuck a turbo. I've got one and the sensor gave me a better shave every time. The turbo is just a waste of blades for me.

Shit yes. Was just wondering about why that is yesterday when i bought 10 for 10 euro's. Are they that expensive to make? Are we being ripped off? What the fuck?

It's a Mach 3 Turbo, only problem is it's kinda tough when trying to shave the sides of my moustache :/

I went back to a mach 3 turbo after trying the fusion. I think the fusion gave a bit closer shave, but was less comfortable than the m3.
