you should take any work you can get and be grateful for it if you want to get into animatronics/sfx

effort more than anything, plus i recently aquired (found in a gutter and propped against a wall) a girlfriend and don't fancy leaving her for 6 months - a year (maggots might eat her away )

wise words, but i'm greedy. my degree is in prop design so at least i'm 'technically' qualified, the main reason i dont like working in theatre is it's full of floosies.
