how much longer until law school is done?
do lawyers do anything similar to residencies that docs to - i.e. work in an office with a more experienced lawyer for a bit - or do you just get dropped right into the system?

2 more years. Yes we work as paralegals/law clerks until we get full qualifications and admission to the bar. I'll be looking for work in a firm around next February as I will have enough credit points by then for my first Legal qualification.
None of my lectures are held during office hours to accomodate those who are working or will be looking for work.
