Assuming I connect to remote linux PC via ssh or anything with X port forwarding enabled, does the remote radiant have the clipboad compatibility with the one on the client, whether it is windows or linux?
I don't have the environment to test this at the moment, but simple strings can be copied/pasted.
Did anyone here try it?

yes, irrc. But I'm very unsure.
I did something similar to this a couple years ago when I was messing around with connecting to my computers remotely.

So you decided not to use that remote radiant?

Last night I found out that it's way too slow with free tools.
I think VNC works better but it does not support clipboard sharing between local and remote.
Maybe I should revert to and stick to windows' remote desktop.

I didn't see any reason to. I have radiant saved on my ftp server and I just snatch the program whenever Im on a computer that doesn't have the program. I do the same with some of my maps if I'll be working on different computers a lot.
