I played q3a for like 2 years under the name Addicted Assassin. I could play multiplayer just fine back then. But my computer crashed and I lost q3a, and worse, i lost my cd key. Well, i just re-installed it again today cuz i found my cd key and went to play multiplayer and my ping is 999 (it would be over that, too....). I have a dial-up connection in rural MN......

What on earth can I do to play the game i used to be so good at on multiplayer now that my ping is so high and there is a constant "connection interuption"?

At the bottom of the page there are some suggestions for different types of connection, you still need to fiddle with some settings until things are to your liking.
