whats with all the youngsters changing their icons.. in my time we didnt have this space age technology and we were happy with what we had!

you're used to things staying the same because you live in a very flat country (that's mostly below sea level). if you saw a hill you'd probably scream "EARTH MONSTER!!!11" and wet yourself
