Well it's good to see that they are out of the reach of teens, I could see a lot of people having their eyes taken out at school with a thing like that.

they have way more power...burn holes in things, light matches, etc.

As an educator, they'd just be a cool demonstration toy...but I'm sure there are many useful practical applications.

This really freaks out the Iraqi Insurgents at night. The green highly visible beam scares the would be insurgent away from US Soldiers. This actually is a anti terrorist non-lethal weaopon in Iraq.

yeah i'm sure it gives them shivers...lol...morons...

Has anyone brought out a 3 dot laser pen like the predator?
Would be kinda cool for halloween.
Suppose I could tape up 3 cheapy pens and chase kids around instead :icon34:

Ha ha open cut healing power, it states that the most powerfull series will also close up open cuts.

Are they crazy, that would just make the cut even deeper, and more fryed. They can melt plastics.

No, it would cauterize the wound.

You're becoming the new Kracus.

Aren't the big ones (on that website) to powerful for that?

lol I would actuially wonder the same, doesn't the time / heat energy factor in on how much cauterization vs further damage happens?

If you left it on there too long probably.

But I'm sure even a medical cauterization device would do the same if you left it on too long.

You look at two things sort of - the energy carried by each photon of light (frequency) and then the total number of photons hitting the region. You aren't going to change to the frequency, but the other could be controlled with distance, time, etc.
