A friend told me that spybot is a trojan detector and remover as well as spybot stuff.

Is this true or false?

any antivirus is a Torjan detector,

And Spybot does spyware not virii last time i checked ( it HAS been a wile )

Yes, both SpyBot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware are good programs for removing spyware, adware, malware, etc. The problem is people confuse the words spyware and spybot and adware and ad-aware. So some people will think the good programs are bad.
