What games did you get with it?

Perfect Dark, Mario Kart, Mario Golf (wtf? awful game), and two ISS Football games. figure i might just buy some of the classics off ebay for €2 a pop (goldeneye, turok etc)

I'd try to get goldeneye and maybe Donkey Kong 64, but with Dk64 I think you have to have the expansion pak.

Sturdy machine that. Treat her right and she'll last you ages (no moving parts), even used.

perfect dark is only cool if you have the expansion, otherwise playing bots in multiplayer gets boring and golden eye is more fun with friends.

Also, you're obviously confused. Mario golf is fucking awesome. Not quite as fun as mario tennis, but Mario tennis was the best game made for the n64.

man, I remember way back when I was a little kid I spent $100 (that's a lot of fucking money when you're little) on stearing wheel + pedals and Crusin USA.

mario 64, star fox, and mega man 64 are great sp games for killing a few hours. I wasted some days with those.

I just went to my friend

I just went to my friends house and we played a few hours of Turok 2 multiplayer, it was great fun.

If I remember correctly, the splitscreen multiplayer on Perfect Dark blows, isn't there insane slowdown?

I don't remember tbh. I get some of the Turoks confused. Turok 2 was the one where one guy could be the monkey and have to reach the teleporter before getting killed? Me and a friend always used to do that but the only weapon you could use against the monkey was the one that digs into their brain

edit: I remember Rage Wars being cool cause I liked being able to choose my weapons beforehand, but I only played it for a few hours with a friend since it was a rental

yeah. the slowdown in Perfect Dark was really annoying. its annoying even in parts where you select your character. Rare has these really complicated swirly things when youre trying to pick your character in multiplayer resulting in sure enough, more slowdown.

It was worth buying just to play mario64, Goldeneye (game is still DA' SHIT), there was also a game with Jet-Skis or some shit, the water animation was excellent , don't know if it still holds up though :icon31:

Man, golden doesn't get old, I just fired up that game today and still enjoyed it.

And then theres the people who created most of the Goldeneye maps for Sounter-Strike, I have a few of them, its fun but its not Goldeneye, its CS in a goldeneye map :p

Oh oh , and someone mentioned Turok, if that's the game with the indian, fuck yeah that was some awesome weaponry, it even had a fucking nuclear bomb. FUUUUUCK, sometimes I would just go off with the knife, the explosive arrows, oh man, man good times ,good fucking times.

it did get kinda repetitive though

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the two Zelda games on the 64, those are both worth getting.

This is assuming you didn't get a gamecube with all the Zelda games on it.
