Quake3World

I have no idea what is wrong i have been working on this problem for a week i bought the game a week ago and installed it and when i try to play it the screen is like its corrupted http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/7875/untitledsz7.png

Did you install the patch?
And did you install the FULL 1.3 patch? (234mb)

I got a similar thing when I accidently downloaded and installed the 1.2-1.3update patch instead of the full 1.3 patch on a fresh install on my Linux box.
