So I grabbed this model of Samus Aran, but I can't get the damn thing to show up in my model select screen! I saw that their was a notice about it saying -

"Make sure you keep the directories intact when unziping. This is one of those models that needs the extra directory to be seen properly in the character selection screens."

I've unzipped everything to my baseq3 folder, but still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

Q3 has a problem displaying models in the menu after a certain number. try manually choosing it with the console command:

/set model samus


also you might look into UI Enhanced for q3. I think that fixes some of those problems.
