Low-skilled workers from Bulgaria and Romania will be allowed to work in Britain in food processing industries and agriculture, under a quota system, but skilled migrants will only be granted jobs if they cannot be filled by residents.

Might sound reasonable to you Foo, since you might personally benefit, but it's at a greater cost to everyone else for hiring one of many local Foos over potentially cheaper, better skilled labour abroad. But hey, this is just another shithole eastern European country so who cares.

I'm Polish but I've been living in the States for quite some time...When my brother went on a business trip to Ireland he said he was so embarassed by what he saw, he never spoke the language or admitted to being from the same country. :icon8:

It sounds totally fair.

The EU has to be good for everyone concerned, not just some shitty eastern european country, being allowed to send all its people to a richer western european country, to work in some factory and claim financial aid for their 15 starving children who they drag along with them.

It would have been far better if the EU had be an elite group of rich european nations sucking eachothers dick for the general good, rather than a scheme whereby the poor ass fuckers all come to england and take advantage of the fact that england isnt a poverty striken shithole.

Ok, I dont have any thing against imigration per-say, because if you think of it in america we are all immigrants to some extent even if we were born here, our ancestors were not. But the thing is in my town we have this one company who pretty much runs the whole boating, import/export industry. Well he has immigrated many workers from mexico and now is immigrating romanians. Which these people are not a problem at the present time. But eventually they will be catch on that they are being paid shit wages and lash out. Now what will we do when we have a thousand plus angry immigrants on our hands. People are ignorant to these immigrants and are scared of them thinking of them as space aliens or something when they are just normal people looking for work. But at the same our "american people" need jobs too. The bad thing about this is that the longer these people work for little to nothing the longer we cant get raises and get shit work. Because who wants to hire an american that wants to work for $20 an hour and want yearly raised and benefits or hire an immigrant who will work for dirt and just be happy that he isnt in his shitty country anymore. P.S Most of them are illegal to, they had a mexican who crushed a guy with the fork lift and they flew him back to mexico before coast guard and immigration got there because he was illegal....many coverups going on.
