I would like to help mappers to get there maps testet and competition ready. Hope u guys will take part in it :p
Since the cpl statet they will use new maps and the players also want new maps, i thought about seting up a team of players who would help mappers testing and making the maps competitive friendly. Via irc in #OSP and on ESR and quake3world forums.
I already have a friendly server admin who would put the maps on the servers.

And if there is enought interest we will have fun cups with new or beta maps. The map poll would be release on sunday and the cup will be next sunday. After that mappers will have another 7 days to modify there maps till we release another map poll.
So a cup every 14 days.

So now i need some players willing to help q3 and the comminity and i hope the mappers respond to this. Contact me here or on irc if u are interestet.

Sometimes, I'm tempted to clean up all the junk from threads like this, but I'm also against censorship... no I'm not... yes I am... *flips quarter*.

Would the players be willing to run around in early alpha maps? Probably wouldn't be much fun for them, but it is important that mappers have feedback at this early stage.

Seeing as how most competitive players use a picmip value above 5 and vertexlight, I don't see why they would mind :D

I have some completed q3 maps which are pretty good :) But I will not be doing any q3 mapping in the near future.
