Quicklaunch icons

While changing the font for the title bars on windows, the size of the caption buttons changed aswell, to smaller. I increased them again to the size they were at before, but this has made the Quicklaunch icons bigger for some reason.
Is there a program or anything to get the Quicklaunch icons back to their regular size?

Use TweakUI's rebuild icons feature.

Look in the start/programs menu.
edit: there was a post there a second ago that I was replying to. :icon26:

That didn't fix it.

Drag all the icons out of the quicklaunch bar, then simply drag them back in.

That didn't fix it and now the "show desktop" icon has been replaced by Show Desktop.scf, which doesn't work
Also desktop.ini has appeared in the Quicklaunch icons bit.
Edit: Well I found out how to get "show desktop" back, but afterwards I deleted desktop.ini and now "Show Desktop.scf.old" is in the Quicklaunch icons and can't be deleted. I called the old "Show Desktop.sfc" shortcut (cause it was a shortcut) "Show Desktop.scf.old" instead of deleting it in case I still needed it. But after deleting desktop.ini, I can't delete it cause right-clicking it acts as if it's an empty space (but the button moves as if pressed) and when the Quicklaunch folder is opened it's not there. How can I get desktop.ini back?
And how do I delete that file?
Edit2: After running Q3, it appears to have deleted itself. Strange
