Can I install Windows Media Player 11 on XP Service Pack 1 without problems?

Cause Windows Update won't work and says it might be piracy.

Not going to work; fine; but will there be any problems like will the system mess up or anything? Just how integrated is WMP?

You could always download SP2 outside of Windows Update you know. Microsoft will send you a CD, click here. It says "order a CD", but it doesn't cost anything. Honestly though, buy XP.

Turbine: Don't help people pirate software in here, its against the terms of service and grounds for being banned.

DTS: Just buy Windows, its not that expensive and you use it all the time.
