Ok.. im totally stumped..

Keyboard, Keeps flipping out. I can use it for oh, i dunno, 60 seconds then it starts randomly (seemingly not so random) smashing the windows key, then ASASASASASASASASASASASAASASASASASASAS

Its opening searches over and over and over and over.

Now. ive swapped keyboards. and it "seems" like its ok for the moment. But whats killing me is it started at total random..

At first, i thought well, virus. Did some AV scans, nothing important. just a few false positives on some *cough* Software.

So, i formatted.

Upon finishing the install (not even hooked up the the network) ASASASASSASASASASSASSA

I dont get it..

Keyboard, Saitek Eclipse.

Any ideas? Anyone heard of such a thing? Im so fucking confused..


And wow.. seems it might of actually been the keyboard. Still tho, wtf causes a keyboard to do such a thing?

Sorted.. Keyboard is exploded.. Just tossed it on my GFs computer, it did the same shit..

Sigh.. So anyone ever had that happen?

did that first post take longer than sixty seconds to type? If so, why haven't we felt the effects?

Because it seems it was the keyboard that was the issue. Im using a second saitek i had laying around.. Gonna have to order a new keyboard so my gf can have this one back.

Im frankly shocked my eclipse died so quickly.. My "gamers keyboard" is still kicking and its had quite a few beers, mixed drinks, and 2 liters of soda spilled all over it. :-\

Same thing happened to my logitech after my friend spilled coke all over it. Took it apart, seperated and cleaned the 4 layers of plastic that do the whole key press thing, worked fine.

the other week i was leaning on my keyboard accidentally while i was on mozilla's extension page. look wtf it did :icon23:

Oddly. Nothings been spilled, Its been cleaned, ect.. Think its a wiring problem.

Ive had that happen too, I just fucking uninstalled maxthon, deleted registry shit, settings, ect,and reinstalled. It was faster. >_<

rofl, was just kidding. found it on digg. apparently someone wanted to load up EVERY extension that was offered for that version of FF (1.5), so they did. that's what it looks like
