I'VE WASTED 2 SOLID DAYS ON TORRENTS THAT START WITH A TON OF SEEDERS THEN FIZZLE TO NO SEEDERS

Caught my little sister deleting freshly downloaded torrents a while back and gave her a stern talking to. I only delete them after they're uploaded over 100%, so to speak.

Still, popularity is the name of the game with torrents, isn't it?

i wait till at least 1.5 ratio, some of them are over 50 \o/

i'm sittting at 99.5 % on 2 torrents for 2 days with 0 seeds , 3000 others fools are also in my position.



i downloaded Eragon .. unrar and it asks me for a password ..to get the password i have to register and log onto a website.
i get the password and the movie was a hoax ..there was no movie.

the uploader makes money getting people to register.

same. and whenever i set any of my mongier associates up with internet, i set the default in their client to share to 2.0. if you start them off with a few gigs of pron and recent movies then they never notice the bandwidth impact anyway.

torrents are test drives for actual purchases anyway, the proof of which lies in the DVD copies of firefly and BSG sitting on my TV, which i would never have bought without seeing them on a series of tubes first

without torrents i would have to leave the house to see a movie and lump in shampoo,laundry detergent and bus fare and your talking a good 20 bucks to see a movie i probably won't like.

Not all torrents are illegal. I'm not even sure if downloading a recorded tv show is illegal either?

how is recording a show on VCR ok, but getting it through a series of tubes not ok?

no commercials in the downloads, and no subscription fees either

maybe if part of your intardnetconnection fee would go to the networks.. then itd be ok !
