Astronomy - algorithm sharpens images

Figured I post this here for those of you that like Astronomy. Thought it was interesting that an image enhancement algorithm developed to sharpen microscopic images could be applied successfully on such large scale images.

How would you know? Baseless supposition and wild guesses. If you're going to flame how about trying to dig out some brain cells and make them more...oh wait. That would require an IQ high enough to measure.

Maybe you could have a friend google some flames for you. You might actually come up with something funny. There's some very bright people on the net, too bad you're not one of them.

Didn't think it would generate much discussion as there's only a few people that are really interested in the topic. In addition, I've seen other astronomy threads here.
