Quake3World

Well I guess its a little late to start playing quake and a little late for me to join the forums. But does anybody know where I can buy quake 3?
Ive been to miejer and target but no luck

Cheap bins, but id keeps a stock, more expensive though.

Indeed. Never too late for a good game.

I see copies here and there in stores. Just keep looking and you'll find one if you don't want to pay id's price.

that sounds like way too much. ebay could turn up something closer/cheaper than texas.

No that does not sound normal.

or if your are not above doing stuff that aint legal you could pirate it like i did (dont worry folks as soon as i find a copy in a store somewhere i will buy it) but its a good thing i have pirated copy cause only way game worked was to manualy copy the files from the cd

The problem with pirated copies is getting "client_unknown_to_auth" on half the servers you try to connect to. In fact i did download the game with an apparently valid CD key, but this error message is driving me insane.

odd i haven't received that error but i think that the installer uses ms-dos so i cant actually install the game so i had to copy all files from my pirated cd
