Hi
I changed my monitor to 17in and wanted play in 800x600 mode, but the image looks like this:

It was fine on my old 15in.
I got WinXP Prof. SP2, GeForce 6600

Reinstall your nividia drivers. Perhaps it hasn't recognised the change of monitor(Mine did this once.)
