Q3A: Shader looks crappy with 'r_vertexlight 1' [solved]

Hi,
I'm using evillairs e8 texture pack for one of my maps and I recently noticed that the jumppad looks crappy with 'r_vertexlight 1'. Looks as if only one layer of the texture was drawn. I was fine with that if it was the other one :-(
Can I do anything about this? Would be very cool if the jumppad was drawn
without the blue swirl thingie, but atm
only the blue swirl is drawn.

It's a limitation with vertex mode, only one stage of the shader can be displayed.
You can do a workaround using the "vertexremapshader" worldspawn key (see the terrain manual - under "Terrain Related Worldspawn Features") to remap the multi-staged shader with an alternative single stage shader for use in vertex mode only.

BTW, that texture in your screenshot looks more like a jump ramp than a bounce pad. I'm not sure if that's intended or not.

I know, it looks like something inbetween.
Judging from the name of the texture (e8_jumppad02), evillair seems to consider it a jumppad. I consider it cool. :icon31:
btw : file updated.
- made bridge look less crappy
- made jumppad shader look less crappy with r_vertexlight 1
- moved items around (out of corners) to improve gameflow
- added target_location markers for TDM
- added info_player_intermission-thingie
- fixed mis-alligned textures on many patches / bezier curves
- stuff i forget atm 'cause it's much too late @ GMT+1
EDIT: the time is also responsible for me posting the info above in this thread instead of the
one were it belongs to. :icon27:

Dammit, you're right! He's talkin' to us from the the.. erm... other side via evillairs jumppad textures?!
Maybe he wants me to retexture my latest map in a weird mushroom-style or something... :icon28:
