I dusted off my Q3 disk last night and loaded it up, it is still a fucking good game considering it is nearly 8 years old.

Hello DB, just been scouring through the posts, its been a while since I was last here. Noticed you are contracting in the UAE.... is this true?

Just enquiring because I was considering doing the same in Dubai with my line of work. What do you do and how easy is it to set yourself up with contract work overseas?

I’m over in the Middle East and Africa quite a bit now. UAE one or two times a year. I'm over there to deliver training and to oversee our sales channel support/third party contacts etc.

That place is a money pot with no lid on if you have the right skills to offer.

I work a lot with enterprise size networks and telecommunications and specialize in wireless communications based here in the UK. I keep hearing stories from other engineers about how much money they make by contracting overseas and just want to get in on the action. Trouble is I have a young family and worry about the risk!

Q4 SP was great, MP needed work.
