Are you married? I think you are... Either way, did your relationship change after you got married?

Hey it beats marrying a poster of Angeline Jolie, amirite?

Yeah, I'm married. I don't regret it in the least. I don't think it changed much if any because of being marred but more because of natural progression. I've enjoyed it and don't regret one bit of it. We lived together for a couple years before getting married. I think that may have made the decision easier.

Yes I am worried about this natural progression. You see, in the recent past a friend of mine got married, as did her sister. We attended both weddings, had fun both weekends. Now it may or may not be, but I got the feeling everyone kept thinking when are we going to marry, and her sister clambering on about how great it is didn't help too much either.

Anyway, I think this wedding surge gave her ideas, and she has been hinting half jokingly about us getting married. Me as the ass that I am, joke back... But sooner or later I will have to make a decision.

I think I am almost being forced into making one. Suggestions?

Not really...although the sex would be awkward.

But on a more serious note, I can see myself getting married in Finland after my post-secondary and military service is done with.

I would crush the gorilla with my wrist flexors.

Edit: the question isn't about seeing your self married, everyone sees them selves married (almost).

I think it’s more likely a big change, when you’ll decide to have children and have them, take care of them, spending nights at their needs, that would make a drastic change in your relationship.
But it worth it. You’re in Love my friend, take it, you might never get another chance.
I envy you.
Good Luck and take Care!

If you feel like your being forced or coerced into it then chances are you really don't want to. Don't do it unless you're sure. If she's serious then she ought to give you time to sort it out for yourself.

There isn't a woman on the planet that would marry an ugly, shortass, faggot loser like you. Keep dreaming you stupid prick. :olo:

heh i wouldn't call it coerced, its the natural progression after all. She is one of the best things to happen to me. I want to do it, but not just yet. I mean, if we become engaged, there is that cool of period... so maybe we should get engaged and that would "shut her up"?

I like your style. Smooth and straight to the point. :olo:

Have you told her you're just not ready yet, but you like the idea? An engagement may be the right idea to test it out and give you a bit of breathing room to think about it.

No I haven't yet, because she has been half joking about it. However I know she is serious, because when I joke back sometimes I get this death stare. *POW*

How long have you been lovers, friends from school before?
Do you already live together, if so, for how long?
Do you have the same interests or/and working-studying in the same areas?
Same goals?

Sounds like she's feeling you out to see if you're serious. Lol. Maybe it's time you had a serious discussion about it? Not knowing either of you, all I could say is try to be honest with her.

be honest and open with her, sit her down and tell her that you see your relationship going in the right direction, but you dont think you're ready just yet to marry, suggest getting engaged to show her that you are serious and willing to commit but dont tell her you're doing it to "shut her up"

gl.
getting married was the best thing i've done, that and raising 7 kids ;)

Theres no point. It's an archaic institution that serves as some kind of fucked up right of passage drilled into the minds of little girls all over the world.

You should be asking yourself why aren’t you ready? Because, if you joked about it in front of her she is thinking the same thing. Doesn’t ek like me? Is there another woman? Am I wasting my time? Maybe I should start fucking his brother. yada yada.

If you already spend most of your time with her and your living with her it probably won’t be much of a change. Just don’t have any kids till youre good and ready, because the life you know now will officially be over. :olo:
