seriously, 25.000 GBP a gig and last night the dude managed at least a dozen times to have beats contra-pounding eachother. Fucks sake man, seriously, once is ok, but that much?

Markus Schulz performed awesome by the way, as usual. Fuckin love him. If there's a gig here with him in the line-up, I'm always there (y)

I disagree. I payed a fair amount of money, so I expect some quality. If some punk ass kid can mix better then one of the world's biggest DJ names, it just pisses me of. Besides, it really is about the mixing, nothing thrills me more then hearing 2 tracks mixed together in a way you cant believe is possible. It
is about the mixing. It's just that trance doens't make it very possible to make long blends. That's where techno excels

if that's what does it for you. can't say i agree though. when we go clubbing, we go for a good time and to hear my fave dj's. if they fuck a few mixes who cares?
i'm not going to be one of those bedroom dj cunts that thinks they could do better, pointing their spotty little nose in the air. fuck em, because when it's you infront of 3000 people it's another story

Bad mixing is like your girl and you are both fucking in the same direction. There's no effective movement, you're both frustrated and there's no orgasm.

well, more like 30.000. Ow, I go for the same reason as you. It doesnt ruin my night. I go to see the DJs, but I only like DJs who either perform technically very skilled or can please the crowd with a great performance and get them all to jump, like Armin van Buuren. He managed neither. It was nothing special, just some great tunes mixed together by someone who didnt seem to know what he was doing.
I dont mind a occasional slipup, naturally. But if beats go haywire this often, he's not in the right place and someone else deserves his spot on the stage.
when I say a dozen times, I do mean a dozen times. Not once.
