I sing chinese music... I guess you can call that a hobby

reading
playing guitar
home improvement/working in the garage
more reading
camping/hiking
gaming, but not very often

doesn't seem like i've had much time for hobbies lately though, except some reading after i get home from work. between work, family & friend functions, weddings, the honey-do list, and just being social, i haven't had a lot of time to myself lately. soon i'm going to replace reading with studying, for the most part.

sometimes i wonder how people survive with kids. there just can't be enough time in the day.

Biking in the summer is fun in Portland town we have the bridge pedal every year hosted by the BTA that I participate in I ride one year and the next I volunteer to work the event this will be a working summer since I rode it last year.

I retired the first of this year I'm catching up on all those things I didn't have time for when I was working that inlcudes more bike rides come summer I won't mind so much missing every other year of the Bridge pedal

ones personal "wants" get pushed to the background, i love deep sea fishing, but i only get out once,( maybe twice if im really lucky) a month, nights are nothing more than a revolving home work service and on weekends im just a taxi service, free time is hard to come by but i wouldn't have it any other way and they dont stay "kids" for that long really.
:)

edit: hi lars ;)

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is my newest hobby. Other than that, reading, gaming, drawing, and watching movies.
As soon as I get my new desk(s) and my garage workbench built, I'll be diving into amateur robotics.

What kind of workbench are you planning on building?

btw, I'm buying a small john boat soon and starting fishing again - if only in the tiny lake in our neighborhood.
