I was going to go but the IMAX showing was sold out by 1pm on Wednesday and I've got the Killswitch concert tonight so I wont be seeing it until Saturday (but still in IMAX woot!).

Yea, I'm at work too...But getting to bed at 2am isn't that rough if you're doing it rarely. Sometimes if I can't sleep I don't get to bed until 3 or 4. Btw, nice work with the name :icon30:

I was mainly talking about everyone waiting to grab the DVD and the lack of 'dude I can't wait I'm going tonight'. I can't be the only impatient SOB on here can I?

i forget it was coming out to be honest...which is kinda silly cuz i remember thinking i needed to see this movie soley for the the reason that it came out on my birthday

My gf's mom is staying with us this weekend, so it will probably be next weekend before I see it. >=\

Well, a friend of mine just emailed me to rub it in that, not only did he go see the 1:00 matinee show, but his whole development group went and his company paid for it. How's that for a team-building exercise?

I asked for a quick and dirty review, and this is what I got:

I have no criticisms. Absolutely great hack and slash movie. It didn't get bogged down with itself or making high and mighty characters. It just took the story and went forward with it. Probably not something for the women, though.

I am still totally stoked. I haven't been this satisfied from a flick since The Fellowship of the Ring.

I would have gone today if I didn't have an early doc appointment and then work.

So either tomorrow or Sunday for sure. I can't wait to see it.

I'll probably see it on Saturday with a few of my friends.

I wonder if it's out here yet... I might try to catch it later, even though i'm not really one for cinemas lately.

i watched it this afternoon and thought all in all it was fucking ace. a definite must see in theaters or even IMAX
