The star it's orbiting is called GQ Lupi... Not to be confused with it's brother star, Stud Barleson.

This almost seems too funny to NOT be an april fools joke. :lol:The star, GQ Lupi, has been observed by a team of European astronomers since 1999. They have made three images using the Very Large Telescope (VLT) of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile.

that picture sucks, looks like it was taken from a cellphone camera. they should use a better camera.

the names they have for the telescopes are quite ridiculous tho, they have an ELT as well (extremely large telescope)
