Quake3World

I have Quake 3 Arena Game.But when i install and start the game it shows in the CONSOLE "couldn't write q3config file.
.Also i installed q3 point release 1.16n still the ABOVE error.

PLEASE HELP ME IN FIXING THE PROBLEM

Your baseq3 folder is probably read-only, so you'll want to change that.

er, 1.32 is the latest version, not 1.16

It also shows "Couldn't write baseq3\q3key".

I am maintaining two users.I am just a user.When i uncheck read only the baseq3 folder and when i am in my user it shows read only checked.

you need to be an admin for your windows to make those changes. thats yer problem
