I need a Quake 3 map made, the map needs to be a replica of a map within an old game called StarSiege. The map is called "DM City on the Edge"an its a fairly flat map with 32 structures within it. I can provide screenshots and textures of the map if needed. Also I will be willing to pay a small fee for someone to build this (PayPal).

I purchased a game engine called DarkGDK.net and its able to load Quake maps (pk3). But I dont know anything about making maps, I'm a software developer not a a 3D graphics designer. Anyways, Im wanting to replicate the game 'StarSiege' and then add new features and enhanced graphics to it. All I need is that one map to get me started on this.

is your game going to be similiar to this one? :

it uses torque (the old tribes engine) rather than being an unreal 2 mod, which i think is what it was originally planned for. they're in the process of moving over to the latest build of torque (tgea).

Verboten, of course. Kaz doesn't care about the money, though. He just loves the mappin'.

Go on, you lazy sod. It'll give you something to do.

That's quite dodgy (copyright reasons from Id and forum rules). Sorry, but I'll have to lock this thread.
And if you want anyone to help you, you'll have to show them what YOU have already done to get this project under way. No one wants to contribute to a project that is just getting under way. No one is willing to contribute a lot of time and energy into something with the risk of it never seeing the light of day.
If you can show everyone that this isn't another dead end project (there have been too many to count in the past) then you
might be able to convince someone to help you.
