Im looking for people to play fastcap mode with. I like speedcapping and if you are unfamiliar with what it is, heres a demo [q3wcp19] of what it is. http://htpg.ca/bacon/files/q3wcp19[mfc.cpm.2]00.07.784(Bacon.CountryHere).dm_68

Does anyone else do speedcapturing or am I the only one :paranoid:

I like speed caps, but not when ppl use cpma to do it. imo thats not normal physics, moving at 2000 ups.

You can easily reach 2000 ups in VQ3 too (given enough space, I can get up to 4500 ups). Benefit of CPMA is you don't loose all that carefully built-up speed when you go around a corner.

well thats what I meant by cpma physics. and imo, your not gonna routinely hit 2000-4500 ups in a standard q3 map, maybe one of those custom defrag maps though.

Where's the fun if you aren't going super fast though :icon25:

Well of course -- CPM is a completely different game than Quake III.

And the trick community regognizes that. There are two defrag modes, one for vq3, one for CPM. Not a big deal.
