I haven't touched my video card driver since Doom3. My current version is 6.14.10.6476. I just had a game demo lock up on me. Should I go with the latest, or is their a "best" version for 9800 Pros?

there are people saying that they are loosing performance with the latest revision of CAT's, but i havent noticed any increse/decrese with them..

I've had some issues with the 5 series. I don't think most people are, so I don't know what's going on.

I've got 5.3 right now and dealing with my minor issues. 4.12 worked great for me.

the newest one works fine on my 9800 pro.

There's 5.3s? I'm still on cat 4.11. I tried omega 4.12 but had problems installing it plus something called radlink. So am I better off changing to 5.3 or sticking with 4.11? Can't say I've ever really noticed any difference in all the upgrades I've done to this 9800pro.

Go with the latest drivers. I'd also recommend going with the version that doesn't include the control centre.

agreed.. that control center.. fucking sucks and does nothing but cause issues..
