...big problem

i have a problem
-everytime i start quake 3 everything is dark (i can still see)
-my weapons are thin
-and the place where it says everything thats going on (in top left corner) is small
-my computer is counting frames (i dont want that)
what i need is a way to put everything to default
HELP!

delete q3config.cfg in your baseq3 folder to reset everything to default

less drastic solution:
open console (press ~)
type
/gamma 1
(resets the brightness. if its still too dark, increase the number 1. decimals are allowed)
/cg_fov 90
resets Field of Vision. should fix your weapon 'problem'
/r_mode 3
changes the resolution of the game. this can also be done from the options screen, which is recommended. set it to lower than whatever it is now
/cg_drawfps 0
should stop the framecounter
[edit] lol but I see you already fixed it by deleting the cfg

i constantly get this problem when i write configs. Ive searched and searched, but i cant find a valid source
