I am getting this error everytime i go to a server. I have never gotten it before and i would like to know what is the the problem.
Anyone want to help me?

it doesn't seem to attempt to load opengl drivers at all... But this isn't the entire log is it? Unless of course it cuts off after so many lines.

Is this what you are talking about. Shutting of OpenGl system is usually due to driver not updated or corrupted right?
But then what's the relation of it with the error "Couldn't reopen pak0.pk3

What folder do you have Q3 installed in?

But the folder name your showing us the screenshot from is:
C:\Quake3folder\baseq3 ?

Most likely you re-named the folder after I asked about where Q3 was installed.

But I wonder if for some reason you have multiple folders of Q3 on
you hard drive with possibly multiple instances of you installing Q3?

Another question for you is your screenshot of the baseq3 folder.
I see pak0 to pak6 in there..... You do have pak7 & pak8 right?

I don't have access to my system right now. Don't have Q3 installed on my wife's laptop
due to my son losing my Q3 cd years ago @ a lan party...... *rambling halted*

If you could see for one thing.... where the Q3 shortcut you click on
is pointing to....? Meaning what folder it's setup for. That may have something
to do with this. Then again..... this whole thing is sounding a bit weird.

I did jump around a bit above but I am a bit confused {insert confused icon here} Hehehehe :p

Looks like you've installed quake in c:\quake3folder then installed the patch in c:\1.32 new folder

You need to install the patch into the Q3 folder, not a seperate folders. Looks like your game shortcut is pointing to your half-empty patch folder rather than the Q3 install folder.

You screenshot doesn't show a pak8.pk3, and that's part of the latest patch. Ergo, the patch isn't installed in that folder pictured.

no i jsut renamed it and the ofx version causes the problem its fixed now i instaled the point release that i needed.
