REAL ESTATE HOUSING MARKET in your area?

Good evening my friends.
I was a commercial / industrial real estate consultant from 1987 to 1993.
I also sold a few houses at the time.
Everything has doubled and even tripled since I left.
What is the average price of a small house in your area or price of an apartment ?
In my area the smallest house is $120,000 but most of them are priced at around $145,000 to $575,000.

A 41/2 is around $600 to $900 a month not including electricity nor heating.

My 1 bedroom flat was £47K ($88,000) in 1987 when I bought it. I believe it's around £170K now( $320,000).

Around the same here, but in euros.
A 120.0000 one would resemble a shed, a 500k one a house you can put an avarage family in (comfortably). Real estate in Amsterdam is very expensive compared to the rest of the country though.

My friend little house I am renovating.

I convinced her to buy it 2 1/2 years ago instead of paying $650/month for a 4 1/2 at the time.
Completely finished inside and the outside is under way of completion. Bought it for $77,500 now estimated at $135,000.

Can you precise the location please? I know all the programs and rules in Canada but I don't want to mislead you in another country.

Jesus fucking Christ that is dirt cheap. I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen and bathroom. Paid 180k for it. Go figure, it's fucking NYC.

I knew a guy just like rep in high school. He was a fat bastard who continuously was bragging about how fucking great he was. If anyone ever bought anything, like a new cd-player or a pair of sneakers, he instantly declared that it was shit, and that he owned something much better and more expensive. But no one in the class had ever been to his place to see all his awesome stuff, and as far as anyone knows, no one had , because the guy didn't have any friends, which is no wonder since he was such a cunt.
So, if someone ever had done something fun, he had always done something much cooler and more awesome. An example; when everyone was getting their drivers licenses (driving age is 18 here) we were often talking about it in between classes and so. We were talking about driving lessons we'd had and stuff like that. When the guy heard us talk about that he always dreamed up some freak story about him driving his uncle's Porsche 911 and almost crashing with a police car or something stupid like that. Everyone knew that he hadn't driven any car at all, that there was no way his fucking uncle had a 911 - he probably didn't even have an uncle.
The thing is that we were all laughing at this fucking clown, and repeatedly told him that he was a fucking retard, but he still continued dreaming up shit like that and acting like an arrogant asshole. No wonder he didn't have any friends, and probably cried himself to sleep every night, wondering why no one liked him.
So, why am I telling you this little story? I guess everyone probably knows some guy just like that. Well, rep is exactly like this guy, fuck if I didn't know rep wasn't Swedish I'd say that he'd had to be the same guy. Is that you, Johan Landahl?

not sure about his other claims, but in his neck of the woods those prices he quotes are about spot on.
