Quake3World

i downloaded different mods, i extracted the files, i copied the pk3 files into baseq3 but when i click on mods in the game it only says Quake III Arena what do i need to do

When you download a zip that has a mod in it, it's within a folder...like that link I gave you for the corkscrew mod, all of the mod .pk3 were in it's corkscrew folder. The folder goes in your Q3A folder. None of it goes in the baseq3 folder. Your just gonna start messin the game up if you do that. Pop the mod in and go to the mod choice on the main screen in Q3A and choose corkscrew... It all works the same way....well..most of them do.

some of the mods may not alter the basic splash screen - you'll only notice a difference when you're actually playing.
