How in the hell is everyone so good at Quake 3? Hahaha! True it's been out for a long time. But wow! I've never seen so many people this good at a game!

My question is how did you guys get so good? I'm guessing practice. I'm lucky if I get more than 1 kill a game. The only time I've ever gotten above 5 kills in this game was because it was an all out rocket match.

I say go through single player until you can beat the entire game on nightmare w/ nocheats, with ease.

playing bots becomes to predictable, the more you get your ass handed to you the better off you are. as long as your getting some kills. if you can't even get a shot off that's not helping you either.

Make sure you bind each weapon to it's own key and get used to it...it's all about switching when it matters...you can't read that in the faq
