yer, AVG seems to be getting the best all-around reviews. was just wondering if there was some secret app that people felt was better for one reason or another.
were i to spend $50 i'd probably suggest f-secure just because i like them.

I've used both AVG and Avast and I haven't had problems with either one.
Avast has a better UI. AVG is slightly better on memory usage.
IMO, it's a coin toss. Pick a flavour.

instead of flaming everyone that has offered avg as a solution, why not explain why it's a pos and shouldn't be used. Those are the only 2 reasons anyone needs.
AVG has 2 good things tho. Its light weight (Because its real time sucks), and its free.
