could someone tell me how to auto download maps from console

does it work on all versions or is there some kind of patch I have to load the cl command dint work thanks help any more ideas/ my game options menu doesnt offer autodownload...

Are you talking about Quake 3? It should be in the options.

Type it this way in the console

/seta cl_allowdownload 1

yeah you need to install the patch that allows you to autodownload maps. if your game option menu doesn't offer autodownload, i'd suggest getting one that does

if that fails, you could try your luck at fixing the problem.
