1. I use Yahoo All Seeing Eye

I try to change my name while on it by typing "/set name (my name here)" OR I go to the setup player menu and change my name.

I also tried opening up quake 3 arena normally.

My problem: Everytime I change my name, as soon as I exit quake and then go back in, my name reverts to "Your Baby Maker". Any way I can fix this?

Btw I have demo quake 3 arena.


2. How do you bind text to keys? I see people always copying and pasting their text in the chat section, but they tell me I have to bind my text or something. Can anyone help me with that?

Try changing your name "In-Game" with the "Console" which is the tilde (~) key.

Open the console and type.................

/name YOURNAME

and hit "ENTER"

Nope didn't work.
