Is there a simple method to bundle updates into a package and deploy rapidly? WU takes a long time and eats bandwidth (not an option on some UK residential lines i.e. mine).

Perhaps AutoPatcher XP is the most straightforwards option? I was sorta hoping there'd be some method that could read updates from a PC I've just patched and write them off for future use as-is, rather than a package from the net and being dependent on a 3rd party to update.
