Just got mine and regged the name ahead of time since so many people think of it. The poster looks quite nice and the cards are, well, cards.

I'll be waiting for Quake Arena using my 3 q3 cd keys and my 2 brand new network cards...I am now unstoppable! Look out America!!!

I preordered. Someone beat me to the name, so I'm registered with the numerical 0.

It doesn't require massive teams. I've played the beta with smaller teams of 5 and still feels like a lot of action. The maps are large, but everyone always spawn out close to the action.

I preorderd about a month ago. Has anyone with the beta successfully reserved the same nick when they preordered, or are they transferring them over?

comp play is 6v6. The maps are easily scripted to help balance it out. I believe the standard for 6v6 is like 1 titan/goliath, no flying vehicles.

I registered my name with the preorder before the beta came out. Installing the preorder, it wouldn't let me use my preregistered retail name, so I had to create a new one just for the beta.

I reserved the name yesterday I'm using in the beta.

For once I'm doing it. If it goes bad my name isn't that obscure that I couldn't sell it on e-bay or something to some idiot but the way the beta is looking I think I'll use it anyway.

Yes, the preorder I got actually came with the full retail game wrapped up inside a time machine capsule from the future.
