Guided self-help has obvious limitations such as a requirement of a certain
reading ability, and understanding of the language used; for example, 22% of
the USA population is functionally illiterate, and 44% will not read a book in
any year. (N.C.E.S.,1997).

its old data, but 44% wont read a book! thats just mind warping

In hitchhikers guide to the galaxy there's this awesome bit about a planet sending off the useless part of their society on huge spacecraft to go and live on another planet - under the ruise that a giant spacemonkey is coming to destroy their homeworld... i still hold hopes of that one day becoming a reality.
