if you want to bother with the real story around 9/11 read nafeez ahmed's 'the war on truth', which documents not an intelligence failure (as 9/11 is generally thought of) but of total failure at the top of the US govt to take action on the basis of that intel (whether intentionally or just because they were too busy on vacation is another question)
