Personally, in all the hype and expectations of Halo 3, alongside the high-caliber campaign modes the series is defined by, I couldn't think of a better way to experience it for the first time than diving into the hardest possible way to play. As well, a significant portion of the fag0ts on this forum either own or will own an Xbox 360 and/or Halo 3 by the North American release date of Sept. 25; one week from today, and organizing a set four-player Xbox Live co-op playthrough on Legendary difficulty only seems logical. Specific times non-withstanding, I'm asking anyone who'd like to join to post in this thread with your gamertag and times you'd be available (and which time zone you're in).
Hell, if it's popular enough and we get 8 (or 12?) participants, a timed competition would be inevitable.

I was in a game store today and tried Halo 3..... yuck.
I dont know what it is, but the whole design of the game screams out childish and boring.
If it had a design more towards gears of war, gritty and dirty looking with better environments.. then it would be my kind of game.

I played both sp and mp (was in the crackdown beta) and i cant stand it...
